At Acomb First School our intent is that our teaching of Computing will help pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of computing and the digital world. The computing curriculum is carefully planned and structured to ensure that current learning is linked to previous learning and that the school’s approaches are informed by current pedagogy. In line with the national curriculum 2014, the curriculum at Acomb First School aims to ensure that all pupils are able to access and use a variety of programs independently and use the internet and online resources safely and effectively.
